Take-back points.

According to European and UK Legislation the last owner must now return their vehicle to an authorised treatment facility where they will be issued a certificate of destruction enabling the owner to deregister the vehicle.

From January 2007 authorised MINI take-back points will accept MINI vehicles registered after July 2002 free of charge. To qualify for free take back the end-of-life vehicle has to be complete (including the engine, bodyshell, catalytic converter and other essential components) and free of waste.
