EXTERIOR DESIGN.

POWERFUL DETAILS.

The MINI John Cooper Works Coupé will turn heads wherever it goes thanks to its unconventional, extrovert design. Its small frontal area with the flat, sloping windscreen, its roof dipping far down to the rear with the integral spoiler and its striking tail end transform every appearance into a major event.

Its hexagonal mesh radiator grille, distinctive air inlets below the front grille for cooling the brakes and centrally mounted twin exhausts underline the racing-style appearance.

There is another noticeable highlight that only drivers following on behind will usually get to appreciate. Because as the speedometer needle approaches 50 mp/h, the rear spoiler of this thoroughbred two-seater is extended electrically. It reduces lift on the rear wheels, producing excellent roadholding.

INTERIOR DESIGN.

THE HIGHLIGHTS.

The MINI John Cooper Works Coupé is a thoroughbred two-seater offering premium comfort.

Everyone who chooses the MINI John Cooper Works Coupé will be bowled over by its outstanding build quality and exclusive interior surfaces. It’s a good idea to sit down before you are confronted with the choice of upholstery. But there is something for all tastes. Every upholstery version has a distinctive character and perfectly matches the black interior beneath the charcoal roof liner.

The MINI John Cooper Works Coupé does not go in for any experiments with the rocker switches on the centre console and the central speedometer. They remain typically MINI.

ABUNDANT SPACE. ABUNDANT SPACE. SURPRISINGLY STRONG ON INNER
VALUES.

The unmistakeable performance is equally matched by the unique character of the vehicle interior. Exclusive design elements such as the interior surfaces in Chili Red or the sports seats in leather Lounge Carbon Black Championship Red turn every trip into ultimate driving pleasure.

This two-seater demonstrates how racing and everyday utility can be combined in style. First, with its variable boot with a generous 280 litres of space. Then with the handy storage areas behind the seats. And there is also the through-loading facility to the boot.

There is plenty of space for all passengers too. Specially designed elliptical elements integrated into the roof liner substantially increase the amount of headroom.

TURBOCHARGER. TURBOCHARGER. FROM 0 TO 280 IN AN INSTANT.

Further back than the bonnet, too, the MINI John Cooper Works Coupé produces some impressive figures. The large tailgate opens very high, to reveal a conveniently low loading sill. That makes it possible to load up the 280-litre boot in an instant.

With the through-loading facility behind the seats, loading up is an even quicker and more convenient affair. The passengers can simply reach behind from the passenger compartment and place smaller items of luggage in the boot.

Beneath the floor of the boot there is a compartment for safe storage of important objects. The optional 12-volt power socket in the boot can be used to charge laptops or connect up cool bags.

HARD CENTRE. HARD CENTRE. MOUTHWATERING EXTERIOR.

A sports car could hardly be more inviting. It will only take a few moments before your gaze is captured by the roof’s racing helmet design. With its subtle joins, it almost seems to hover above the MINI John Cooper Works Coupé.

On the other hand the integral roof spoiler and the electrically extended rear spoiler are all about firmly hugging the ground. Both features provide the right grip on winding roads.

But the key to conquering the air stream is to be found up front. The very sloped A-pillar with flat windscreen improves aerodynamic performance and gives the driver even more scope for high-speed driving.
